Our trainees are finally going to graduate and become full-fledged soldiers! But before we toast to humanity’s newest warriors lets see what the Twitter verse has to say.
@jet_moebro: SHE STOLE FOOD AGAIN #shingeki
I’m just incredibly surprised at the lack of security around food. I mean isn’t it a scarce resource within the walls? Why does everyone just leave it lying around? Either that or Sasha is the master thief with incredible dexterity parameters. Sadly, there doesn’t seem any way to put those skills to use and assassinate a Titan.
@weikawut: hahaha oh man, the scene where Mikasa uses Sasha as a scapegoat and then feeds her off with some bread is hilarious #shingeki
Theft followed by subterfuge and bribery? What is this academy training, soldiers or spies? I’m calling it here first folks, Mikasa will be the next 007. Either that or she will betray humanity because she’s secretly a double agent for the Titans.
@tehloneranger: Mikasa’s only weakness, co-dependency #Shingeki
I don’t exactly agree that this is her weakness. When Armin, Mikasa and Eren go outside, Eren asks Mikasa why she would follow him anywhere he goes. She says that she doesn’t want to lose anymore family. I don’t think this is necessarily a sign of co-dependence. Her actions feel more indicative of a mother protecting her child. She’s willing to do anything in order to insure the survival of her young. But can she against the Titans? I feel that hubris might eventually become her undoing. Her confidence in her skill and her strength to shield Eren could be her undoing.
@_Kuro_hime_: So far so good. So glad that I.G is behind #shingeki.
I.G. is on point this season. There is no doubt about that. Both Susei no Gargantia and Shingeki no Kyojin are fantastic shows. There seemed to be a breakthrough for the studio after Psycho-Pass and Robotics; Notes in the fall. Hopefully this a trend that continues onward into future seasons.
@linkington: Sasha continues to be the best character. #shingeki
@angelx03: Yeah, I think I’ll keep on watching thing just as long the female characters are kept as interesting as the guys…#attackontitan #shingeki
This seems to be an important cornerstone for the series. Every episode goes out of its way to highlight one female or another in the cast. A pleasantly surprising side effect of this is that the fairer sex feel like they have a bit more depth with Mikasa being the most intriguing of the bunch.
Overall, I really enjoyed this show. Eren finally shows some maturity. He isn’t all bark and no bite anymore. While it’s only been four episodes he has finally come into his own. He doesn’t feel like the same whiny, snot-nosed kid that fell asleep while collecting firewood. Now he’s a strong spoken leader.
